We all tend to consider life made out of compartments or under a habitative model, different separated rooms. I am careful in making sure doors of my rooms can easily open one into another.

Circularity is the western and current way to re establish natural cycles, closing the loops and reducing waste in landfills. Circular economy is a way to take charge and share responsibilities. At TU Delft  has been easy for me to move towards Circular Economy applied to the Building Environment. I have been always fascinated by ecological movements since study time.  Feng Shui has been my  way to enter as a professional the path of sustainability, gave into my hands tools I could use immediately beyond economy.  I dived into Biophilic design and the Cradle to Cradle reading as soon as I arrived in the Netherlands in 2008. I have been allured and fascinated by the ambition and the Almere program. I think up today, Circularity is still missing something if I compare it to Taoism, one important parameter:  time.

I play violin, with few interruptions on the way, all my life. Musicality, through violin. and Taoism through Feng Shui, is the way I expand my private interest into the professional realm.
Itzhak Bentov on his book `Stalking the wild pendolum, on the mechanics of consciousness`says:
"Suppose we tune two violins, then put one of them on the table and play a note on the other. If we watch carefully, we shall see that the same string that we are playing on one violin is also humming on the violin that we placed on the table. Clearly there is a  sympathetic resonance. When we draw the bow over a string, it vibrates at its own natural frequency, which we call self frequency. When the two violins are tuned  they create a system within which it is very easy to transfer energy.". On a certain extend this concept is applicable to masses and built environment and the theory of G. Bohme enters into play when talking about athmospheres.

In 2016 I was cuious about where we were moving. I got engaged with people who encouraged me a lot in pursuing this project but life became rather dense at the time and I droped it.
Main question was: Entering  to the point where to seek a "New Man" is not applicable in our era but rather  perhaps a “new person” or better a“new humankind”, how do we create a " New Humankind?"Are our spiritual values in the XXI century needed in this process?

Are the main actors in the scientific domain aware of the need of new ethic norms?
How can we make sure that a new ethic and value are met and applied within the fast moving technology and that  this message is passed from a scientific domain to a wider public so the fast and easy to grasp technology is not misused? The aim was to bring awareness regarding matters happening in our society which could leave us totally powerless.

Anima Migrante has been a way to find peace and a place within myself as a migrant woman. Under the name of "Anima Migrante" I have done two projects: 1. In 2011, related to Italian migrantion in
The Netherlands. It has been presented at the Prinsenhof in Delft and for the scene I used cardboard.
2. in 2013 Psychological female migration. Presented at the Rietveld theatre in Delft. This project  has been extremely valuable because for the first time in my experience I could find a western way to discuss about Feng Shui, and how we shift from a mental space to an habitative space. I worked with intuitive Feng Shui, hence with the use of senses and imagination in conjuction with a psychologist, Silvia Micocci,  who in time became a dear friend, art therapist who has a psycho-physiological approach to her profession.

This project has been the one to redefine myself as soon as I arrived in The Netherlands. I was eager to move on professionally but there was no way to move on professionally considered several factors: economical crisis, where me as a new comer, new mother, I could just be at the very end of a long line of people trying to move on. The country welcomed me very well despite circumstances and at the time I exposed at Bacinol 2. As a student I was really driven by deconstructivism, based on Derrida`s philosophy and luckily in 2009 it was 100 year of the of the Italian Futurist manifest. I used cardboard tubes to create a scene in the room. and printed picture folded around the cardboard tubes.

I permanently moved to Ireland a month after I discussed my Master thesis, a project for a socially difficult area in Dublin. I stayed in Dublin 5 months as a matter of fact by my own initiative before graduation. So when I moved I already knew life in Ireland. While looking for job and just before finding a job as a design Architect in Westport I proposed to the Dublin Public Library to expose my thesis and they accepted. It has been hilarious because as soon as they said yes, I found a job at the opposite side of Ireland, Westport. I have been very lucky the Architects fully supported me into this task. For the thesis I dived into Irish history, symbolism, paganism and design based on critical thinking.

The most important experience, beside being part of the design team for the Eircon HQ, and being expesed to the design of a double skin facade with ARUP as engeneering bureau at the background, has been being senior architect for the refurbishment of the Aut Even hospital in Kilkenny. During this project I met a wonderful Fire fighter who was so committed to his profession that instructed me over all the requirements to get a fire certificate for a hospital and I had it granted. This experience had an high impact in my profession.

Circularity is the western and current way to re establish natural cycles. widely described by old masters. JVC
